Through legal representation, legal education, and policy advocacy, LAC helps individuals and communities resolve land disputes, defend their rights to land and natural resources, and navigate Cambodia\u2019s complex land laws.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1429\" data-end=\"1833\">Cambodia\u2019s rapid development and expanding land concessions have created significant challenges for rural communities whose livelihoods depend on land, forests, and natural resources. LAC provides legal assistance in land-related disputes, supports communities facing displacement or land conflicts, and works with local authorities and justice actors to promote fair and lawful resolution of land cases.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1835\" data-end=\"2303\">Beyond individual cases, LAC also contributes to broader legal reform and awareness by helping communities understand their rights under Cambodia\u2019s land laws and by strengthening dialogue between communities, government institutions, and civil society actors.
